The Banff Centre for Mountain Culture is seeking entries for the 2nd Annual Banff International Mountain Photography Competition.

Photographers are invited to submit 35mm slides and/or 8x10-inch to 11x14-inch black-and-white or color prints.

Prizes
$1000--Grand Prize. The winner will also receive exposure in Outside magazine.
$500--Best Photo on Mountain Adventure
$500--Best Photo on Mountain Landscape
$500--Best Photo on Mountain Culture
$500--Best Photo on Mountain Flora and Fauna
$500--Best Photo on Mountain Environment

Deadline: April 30, 1997

Winning photographs will be exhibited during the 22nd Annual Banff Festival of Mountain Films and the 4th Annual Banff Mountain Book Festival, November 5-9, 1997.
